We were back to double days today after a very nice and uneventful day off. I would have to say that this mornings session was one of my best sessions, hurt ankle and all, unfortunately the keeper coach wasn't watching....of course. This afternoon was a tactical session, so it was quite uneventful for the keepers, however, I did get rocked in the same ankle again....arg!!! We have double days tomorrow, we are assuming one session will be light considering we have a scrimmage against Cal Berkely on Wednesday night. Cuts will be Thursday and they will need to cut 8.
In other news, the Japanese player arrived today, she doesn't speak a lick of English, so she is very intriguing to all of us. How do we communicate with her? Oh we figured it out with a ton of laughs and our own sign language. She will have a translator for most occasions, however, I don't think the translator is going to be able to yell "man on!", "turn", "finish" as we say them on the field...so she is going to have to learn a few words really quick. For those who are interested(FCA) there is a great Champions League game on tomorrow at 11:45am, Barcelona(could be the best team in the world currently) vs. Manchester United. This should we an awesome game, so DVR it if you can.
