Well, the last 24 hours have not been too eventful. After arriving yesterday, I eventually found some soccer players at the hotel and we ended up going to the San Jose Earthquakes vs. Colorado Rapids Soccer game, then it was off to bed. It was nice to get to know some of the girls last night. 6 degrees of separation is in full effect here. Today we had our physicals and lunch and a team meeting. Finally got to see all the faces I will be playing with for the next 2 weeks....Brandi Chastain, Leslie Osborn...big names. The coach had some great things to say, really fired me up. He is very passionate about the sport and about the team. Basically under contract or not it doesn't matter, you still have to make the team in the next few weeks. The keeper situation....there are 4 of us here, competing for 1 position....talk about a challenge, should be fun though. The keeper coach told the 4 of us, "this should be fun, if you are not having fun every time you step on the field for the next few weeks, there is something wrong"....CAN'T WAIT!!
SO tomorrow we start training....CAN'T WAIT!!!
